Congratulations to the 102 Beavers and Cubs who attended the County Awards Presentation today to receive a certificate for their Chief Scout Bronze and Silver Awards. County Commissioner meets the County – tonight James introduced himself to District Commissioners and District Leaders at the annual County and District Team Meeting. During the meeting Robert Park, DC for High Wycombe Scout District, was presented with a 25 year service award and Tim Allen, ACC Water Activities, David Bentley, DC for Misbourne Valley Scout District and Tim L’Angellier, DC for Woodlands Scout District all received the Award for Merit.
Wild Country Training 2016 – 12 Leaders from across Bucks attended Braid Wood this weekend for part one of the Wild Country Training course. Part two will take place on Dartmoor next month. This course is one of a number of ways for Leaders to gain the necessary experience to enable them to apply for a Terrain 1 or 2 hillwalking permit.
