Last night the Activities Team held its first meeting of the year. Both ACC Activities (Land and Water) met with County Advisers and Assessors for hillwalking, climbing, water and DofE activities. The Climbing Team has now got its 2016 calendar in place, the Water Team has the Annual Water Activities Weekend taking place shortly and paddling sessions commence on the 9th May, Wild Country Training recently took place for the Hillwalking Team and they too have a calendar of assessment weekends and walking events.
The team is always busy processing applications for new adventurous activity permits and renewals for hillwalking, climbing, boating and archery.
It is hoped that an activity day can be arranged later in the year for Leaders to meet the team and find out more about activities available in the County but in the meantime check out www.bucksscoutsclimbing.co.uk andwww.buckshillwalking.org.uk or contact County Office who will put you in touch with the relevant Adviser
Results for this year’s Annual Bowling Tournament have now been circulated to Leaders. Congratulations to everyone who took part; trophies will be presented to the winning teams in due course.
